A Little Bit About Me

Hi! My name is Margot Swibel and I’m a senior at New Trier High School in Winnetka, IL. I am very involved in the disability community and one of my favorite mottos to live my life by is “presume competence”.

If I were to create a social media caption for my life it would probably be something like this:

Over-thinker, recovering perfectionist trying (and sometimes failing) to embrace the chaos with grace. Passionate advocate for access and equity for all, dedicated to find ways to communicate and connect with nonspeaking individuals.
