Overnight Trips

Chaos, joy, exhaustion. Those three words perfectly sum up the role of being a one to one sleep away camp counselor for a camper with high support needs. I’ve been on two sleep away camp trips as a one to one counselor with Keshet, and cumulatively, those two weeks were the absolute best and most exhausting weeks of my life so far. The beaming smiles, sweaty faces, and dark under-eye circles tell it all. I wouldn't trade either of those two weeks for the world.
