The Driven Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness to purchase wheelchair-accessible vans at no cost to families with children or dependents who need them. As a member of the Junior Board, I help organize and facilitate fundraisers, while also working to spread education about disability and promote inclusivity. Beyond fundraising, one of my favorite aspects of my role as a Junior Board Member has been building relationships with the recipient families. Connecting with them, hearing their stories, and having the opportunity to witness the life-changing impact of a van that restores mobility and independence has been both eye-opening and deeply rewarding. This work has not only strengthened my commitment to disability advocacy but has also shown me the power of community in creating tangible change.
