Thursday Afternoons: Bracelets for Bravery

Bracelets for Bravery is a time of the week when my friends and I block out our busy schedules to have a shared extracurricular activity. Bracelets for Bravery is a club that makes jewelry and motivational notes for pediatric hospital patients. Every week we come together to make beaded bracelets of all kinds to deliver to pediatric hospitals. Through the connections I built with my Healing Through Play project, I collaborate with local child life specialists to organize bi-monthly bracelet delivery times. Those club days look a little different, as we drive to deliver our bracelets and notes to our “partner” hospitals!
